Happy Halloween!

Myself and Andy hope you are all enjoying the spooky season and we wanted to share a quick update on Reanimator 3.

We've been working hard to finish the line work and after some editorial feedback from Claire Napier, I've now finished the line work and inks for all 116 pages! This will make Reanimator 3 slightly bigger than book 2 as we dive deeper into the different realms of hell with Mike and Howard. 

I'm going to be spending the next few months on colouring and I'm hoping to be finished around February (painting takes time) and then bringing the book to Kickstarter in the first half of 2025. 

For now, please check out the cover for book 3 with a new character, Minos, the judge of the underworld. Plus the first 2 pages of the book in full colour.

Thanks for your continued patience and support as we make the next book in the series. It's been incredibly fun to draw and play around with the Lovecraft mythos. I hope you enjoy it when we get to the finish line.

Reanimator #3 Update

Hi everyone, we've had a few enquiries about Chapter 3. Things have taken a little longer unfortunately - life has a habit of getting in the way... 

However, the good news is 99% of line work is done, and the script is with the editor prior to a completed draft and then Lyndon starts colouring.

We want to make sure every chapter is 100% quality and we don't want to cut corners to release early. 

Thank you so much your paitence and anticipation of the continuation of the series. Hopefully, you won't be disappointed and the wait will be worth it.

Reanimator 2024 Update

Hey everyone, 

A much belated update, sorry. I have a few excuses as my wife and I had a baby boy last year, who has been keeping us very busy.

In Reanimator news, Lyndon has completed approx. 2/3 of the line work. The rest of the work, including the colouring and lettering will start again in the next few months as Lyndon is taking a little time out himself. In short, we expect Chapter 3 to be available to back on Kickstarter in Summer this year, with fulfilment in Autumn. 

Chapter 3 was originally going to be 150 pages, but after much discussions in terms of costs, shipping, timeframes, etc, it will be closer to 100 pages - similar to Chapters 1 and 2. The good news is that Chapter 4 is at least 50% written and re-reading the edited scripts and tweaked arcs, the story is much stronger. We therefore expect Chapter 4 to be a 2025 release. 

In terms of story - spoiler alert - we continue Mike's journey into Lovecraftian Hell and introduce new characters, namely one C. Dexter Ward. A few sneak peaks below... Thank you for your patience and interest in the project. Lyndon met a number of you at cons last year and it was heartening to hear his reports of people asking about plans for future chapters.

In the shorter term, Chris Holmes and I will be releasing the next in the series of the Lovecraft Legends A2 Poster. This time it will be Dagon... Keep a fish-eye out its release on Kickstarter soon

Reanimator 3 - In Production

Hey everyone,

Myself and Andy are well and truly out of "winter hibernation" and are very excited to share some updates.

Andy has handed me a very juicy script for Reanimator 3 (and parts of Reanimator 4). Yesterday, I finished the thumbnails for the book, which act as rough sketches and layouts for each page.  Currently we are looking at 110 comic pages, plus extras for book design which will make it slightly bigger than Chapter 2. 

There's a lot going on in this next chapter of the series as the world opens up, bridging the visuals of the sci-fi laboratories and the supernatural underworld. 

Following on directly from the events of Chapter 2, we find Mike and Howard going deeper into the realms of Lovecraftian Hell and meeting one of its rulers, Dagon. It's still early days, but here is how the line work is shaping up for the opening of the book.

So when can you expect Chapter 3? I'm going to be spending the rest of the year drawing this book, with the aim of hopefully launching a Kickstarter late 2023. These books have a chunky page count and while there is a lot of details to draw, its incredibly rewarding as an artist to visual these worlds. I'll be posting more updates as the book starts to come together, as I spend the next month or two purely on line work.
